MEDIUM OF INSTRUCTION

The medium of instruction is English. Besides this, Malayalam, Hindi and Arabic are also taught. The management wants every student to acquire proficiency in listening, speaking, reading and writing in all these languages.

SCHOOL ASSEMBLY

The students are required to attend the morning assembly which begins at 9.30 am. Students must be in the respective classrooms by the first bell at 9.25 a.m. Class-wise assembly is conducted on all working days except Monday and Wednesday. Special weekly assembly is conducted on all Wednesdays. Late coming should be strictly avoided.

ATTENDANCE AND LEAVE OF ABSENCE

Absence from class without any valid reason is not permitted. Continuous absence for 15 working days, without valid explanation, will result in the removal of the student from the rolls. Application for leave exceeding five consecutive days should be supported by a medical certificate in case of illness. The leave particulars must be informed to the class teacher duly filled and signed by the Parent/Guardian through diary.

PARENT-TEACHER ASSOCIATION

There is a Parent Teacher Association in the school. The P.T.A is expected to bring to the notice of the management any short comings and put forward practical suggestions for the better functioning of the school for which periodical meetings separately for seniors and juniors are being held under intimation to the parents..

Value based education will enable all the pupils to develop themselves by learning, sharing and participating in the best of other culture and civilization and thus becoming a part of Global family.One of the main objectives of this institution is to inculcate in the students a sense of religious faith and self-discipline. The AL-AMEEN CENTRAL SCHOOL emphasize the importance of human relationship based on tolerance, good-will, co-operation and understanding. Special lecture on Value Education is arranged every month for the benefit of all the students.The lecture is delivered by great scholars.Value education is included in the curriculum with the aim of moulding the right spirit in character building.Counselling is also given due importance.

Smart Class in school will bring about a revolutionary change in the way students learn in classrooms increasing their interest in learning and improving their academic performance.

CONVEYANCE FACILITIES

Conveyance facilities are provided at the expense of the parents. Specific boarding points will be fixed. Parents/responsible persons are expected to wait at the boarding point to ensure the safety of the pupil. Those who wish to make use of the school conveyance should contact the school office and obtain bus pass sufficiently early by remitting the required fees in advance. Parent should inform the school authorities when conveyance is discontinued.

SCHOOL TRANSPORT

Students can avail the school transportation facility. The routes of the school buses are drawn up and parents should consult the school Authorities for necessary guidance. . Regarding vehicle, parents may contact the drivers/helpers of the respective vehicle whose details can be collected from the office.

SCHOOL LIBRARY

The AL-AMEEN CENTRAL SCHOOL has a well-stocked library with thousands of books.We subscribe periodicals, journals, news papers and magazines covering varied areas suitable to modern education. The library is open to all bonafide students of the school.All classes are provided with atleast one library period per week. Students have to observe the following instructions.

  1. Students are permitted to borrow books from class III onwards.
  2. They must maintain absolute silence in the library.
  3. Books other than reference books are issued for one week.
  4. Books marked, disfigured or damaged will have to be replaced or cost paid for by the borrower.
  5. The library has an open shelves system and students must help to maintain order and upkeep the different shelves.
